Abstinence.

I'll be gone for five days.

Sure, your hearts will ache as you will miss me like you've never missed anyone before in your entire miserable lives, but you know what? What doesn't kill you makes you fatter stronger, so you'll manage just fine.

And if not, well, it was nice knowing you.

So, in the words of the legendary Truman Burbank:

".. in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night."
Cheers

OK, OK, so I don't visit for a few days, but that shouldn't mean that when I eventually get here, you piss off for a while.

Bastard.

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

I've always liked that particular Nietzchian idea, and often share it with people who've been paralyzed in car accidents. They are usually heartened to know that losing the use of their limbs has made them stronger. Then I turn on loud music and dance in front of them until they cry.

Have a great trip - wherever or whenever you've gone!
