They are not, they are not, they are not! They're just black and white. Stop labeling them! Hehe.
It's not labeling them, dammit! It's like calling a person a human being, like calling the ocean water, like calling a tree wood - it just is!

They are not colors. They're values. Blacks, grays, and whites are all values. Colors are certain combonations of hues that are in contrast to the values of black and white. For the sake of ease, we call them colors. If anything they're "no color" and "all colors," which in the end still makes them values.
so does that mean that we can excommunicate pink and mauve from the box of crayons?
