Wrong Turn 2: Dead End.

Remember Wrong Turn, that lovely little slasher flick that came out a few years back?

Yeah, well, me neither.

Turns out is has a sequel, though. This time, the crew of a Survivor-type reality show (how very post-post-modern) get massacred in the woods by deformed inbred degenerates (who else?). It has a cast of unknowns, a plotline that is, at best, laughable, terrible acting and dialogue that is so bad that it's gone beyond camp.

And I loved it. Simply adored it.

It has some of the best and most creatively shot death scenes I have ever seen. And just for your pleasure, I made a few gifs.

That's right, that lovely lady gets an axe flung into her skull. Isn't that lovely?

And on a sidenote: just how desperate an actor do you have to be to accept the part of 'inbred degenerate # 2'? Just how badly does that actor need to a) fire his agent and b) rethink his life? Do you honestly take any pride from an acting part like that? Do you gather your friends and family around the DVD player, pop in that shiny disc, and point out to your loved ones that that is you, feeding a severed finger to a hideously deformed baby?

One wonders.
