Curiously stunning.

David Fincher and Brad Pitt finally reunite, a full 13 years after Se7en, for their adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald short 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'. And boy, does it look glorious. The effects turning Pitt into a small, fragile old man (or young boy - whichever) seem entirely seamless; in the picture posted above you can detect Pitt's features, albethey subtle. For more, check out the second, longer trailer right here in HD. But be warned: your eyes will orgasm.

Though, on the seamless effects: Fincher could have saved himself a bundle of money by ditching the digital wizardry and just hiring Robert Redford for the first part of the film, chronicling the (reversed) golden years of Benjamin Button's life. The resemblance is uncanny, to say the least.

As a huge fan of both Fincher (since Alien³) and Pitt (since Se7en) I cannot wait for this.
