Aeon what?!

This is Aeon Flux; the scantily clad heroine of the animated science fiction television series of the same name, which aired on MTV in the early nineties. I have some vague recollection of this show, so I must've seen it once or twice.

This is Charlize Theron; the very attractive star of such films as The Devil's Advocate, The Italian Job, Monster (for which she won an oscar), and the highly underrated Children of the Corn III:

Now, tell me, if I were to ask who would want to see Miss Theron squeeze herself into Miss Flux' minimalistic outfit (if we can even call it that), how many positive responses would I get? I want to see hands here, people, so don't be shy.

I'll step up - I most certainly want to see that. And now I can.

Check out the trailer for the upcoming feature Aeon Flux, starring (wait for it) Charlize Theron as the titular heroine. It looks very interesting, despite it's Matrix-y look.

I'll be there.

Cheers

I'll just be here waiting for your review labeling it as worse than Troy.

I'll be there too.

You think Troy is bad? Are you freakin' kidding me? Do you know how many guys in that movie that I will kill to sleep with?!

Straight guys are sooooo stupid.

I just want to see her period. The pig in me wants to say she's simply fucking hot, but she's really just a beautiful woman altogether. She seems very intelligent and very kind, and she's a damn good actress to boot.

She does have quite distinctive features, yes.

Meh. We'll see. It won't rock the cinematic world, that's for sure.

Girlfight was good, and Aeon Flux is directed by the same woman, so you never know. But there's a big difference between a low-budget indie flick starring unknowns and produced by John Sayles with a plot inspired by '70s martial arts movies, and a big-budget SF/action flick starring a glamourous Oscar winner and produced by Gale Ann Hurd with a plot based on an MTV cartoon.

Or is there?
