And a good morning to you, too, dammit!

So, I get home around 7:30 am, after a long and harrowing night shift, working my ass off to pay the friggin' rent. I kick off my workshoes, and grab a quick drink. After the drink, but before I take a much needed shower, I pop into the bedroom, to give my girlfriend, who is still asleep, naturally, a quick peck on the cheek, to let her now I'm home. I do this, because she asked me to do this a few weeks ago.

Now get this. I give her that peck on the cheek, and she half wakes up. She opens her eyes and looks at me blearily. I whisper 'Hi', and she answers my greeting by saying 'Oh, I smelled you before I saw you'.

Lovely. Just lovely.
