The truth about light bulbs.

You know what I think?

I think that light bulbs are not actually light bulbs, as in bulbs of light, but darkness absorbers, as in, well, darkness absorbers. Much like tiny, managable black holes. I think that when you turn them on, they don't create light, they suck the darkness from the room.

Consequently, shadow is not the absence of light, but it's the presence of darkness, holding on for dear life in order to not get sucked into the darkness absorber. When you hold your hand under one of these socalled 'light bulb', the dark will stack up under your hand where its path to the absorber is blocked by your hand.

Also, when they stop working, it's not because they've burnt out, it's because they're full.

Think about it.

Cheers

Okay, that's freaky -- but wonderful! I'm not sure about your light bulb theory, but I've long shared your theory on shadows.

One only needs to really watch shadows to realize that they're entities in and of themselves.

"The Sound Of Silence" - nice.

You have a point, there. It's interesting to see how two shadows (say, the shadows of your two hands closing in on eachother) at some point merge, while your hands are still clearly separate. Rather like liquid mercury.

Did you know that if you put a light bulb in a half glass of milk, and put the glass in a microwave and turn it on, the bulb will light up?
