And the winner is ..
Best film: Crash --> Yay!
Best actor in a supporting role: George Clooney (Syriana) --> Yay!
Best director: Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain) --> Yay!
Best animated film: Wallace & Gromit --> Yay!
Best actress in a supporting role: Reese Witherspoon --> ...oh.
And the rest.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Reese (I call her Reese) did a stellar job (I haven't seen Walk The Line yet, but I will, soon), but I really do think that when giving out the awards, the Academy should take into account the actor or actress' past (ahem) achievements. Or else, what's next? Adam Sandler winning Best Actor in 2007?
Oh, the horror!
Cheers

Then it would be a "lifetime achievement award", or wouldn't it?
Eek!
Oh, and where's your blog gone?
Cheers
If that were the case, I'm pretty sure George clooney didn't deserve to win either.
Oh, har har - let me put it like this. I do like George Clooney. I don't like Reese "I just want to matter" Witherspoon.
'kay?
Cheers
I hear you. I'm just not a big fan of George "I'll put this Oscar next to my Sexiest Man Alive Award" Clooney.
That was a joke. And a damn funny one, too.
Cheers
