I'm not crazy, I'm ...

A while back I had a meeting with the professor who was supervising the writing of my thesis; I'd completed the first draft of my thesis, written, of course, in English, and we met up to discuss it and point out the elements that could be improved upon.

It should be noted that said professor says 'erm' a lot. A lot!

So, all was well, until he suddenly said the following:

"Your usage of the English language is .. "

(What?! Grammatically incorrect?)

" .. erm .. "

(Disappointing?)

" .. erm .. "

(Complete shit?)

" .. erm .. "

(Say it!)

" .. erm .. eccentric."

My usage of the English language is eccentric. I'm not entirely sure he meant it as such, but I took that as a big-ass compliment.

Cheers

Martin, tahniah kepada kamu! Saya betul betul tak sangka professor kamu suka apa kamu tulis. Tapi, kamu ialah agak baik. Sedikit gila sana sini, itu tak apalah.

Lies: No. Or maybe. I'm not sure yet. Why, exactly?

Snake: Jibberish? If not, please translate.

Cheers

Omdat het er zo gek en het tegenovergestelde van mooi uitziet. Is dat een goede reden? ;o)
