One and one equals endless fun.
So, ever since the beginning of the 20th century, we have had the escalator, right? The conveyorbelt-like transport device for transporting people, which consists of a staircase with steps that move up or down on tracks that keep the surfaces of the individual steps horizontal. An automatic staircase, if you will.
And, ever since, say, 1945, we've had the slinky; the toy shaped like a simple helix, or coil design, made of a ribbon of material. You know, the toy famous for its ability to 'walk' down stairs as the coils stretch and retract as gravity moves them down each step.
So, why oh why, has no one ever had the idea to combine the two?!
No, really, think about it.
Cheers

Huh?!
Ok. I realise that I will have to spell it out.
Put a slinky on an (up-going) escalator, and you'll have hours and hours of fun.
Cheers
