Note to self.

When you're going abroad (hey, Belgium is officially another country, ok?) for a bout of unadulterated shopping, check for national fucking holidays first.

's All.

Do the shops really close for the 15th? I thought it was just a holiday for elementary and high schools. And governmental shit.

In Antwerp they close. Trust me, I can know. Thank heavens Eindhoven was both near and open to the masses (i.e. us).

So is Belgium known for its shopping, or what? Seriously... I want to know. :)

Antwerp's pretty nice, yes. Haven't been to Brussels yet, but I will, some time.

Besides, I'd already been to every friggin' Dutch city.

Oh, and Lies, the 11th, not the 15th.
