Good things come in threes.
Interesting day, yesterday, for a threefold of reasons.
1) I took a dump, not once, not twice, but thrice in a 12 hour period! Memorable, to say the least.
2) 't Was my 27th birthday. Fun.
3) Yesterday we were camping on a camp site right smack in the middle of the yet another national park (Royal National Park, no less - just south of Sydney), just off a tiny town called Bundeena (population, like, seven). Less than a hundred steps from our tent was a lovely little beach, and it was on this beach, in the dying hours of January 15th, 2007, that I gave myself the best birthday gift anyone could ever give himself (I'm a greedy little bugger, I am) - I asked my girlfriend (Marianne, for future reference) to marry me.
She said yes.
Holy hell.
Cheers

CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH YOU AND MARIANNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS HUGE!!!!!! SO HUGE THAT I'M TYPING IN CAPS!!!!!
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOO!!! I GUESS I DON'T HAVE TO GET YOU A BIRTHDAY PRESENT THEN.
I know it's huge! Bigger than huge! I mean, how often do you take three shits a day?
Oh, and dude, the caps? Don't. Just don't. You're better than that. You are. Come here. Give me a hug.
My word I've missed so much.
You've moved to Australia?
You're engaged?
You're reading The Day After Tomorrow? (worst last line I've ever read; but don't read it now as it'll ruin the whole book).
Hope you are well. :o)
Mxx
Yikes, old post! It seems you've missed a lot, indeed.
I moved to Australia - in a way, yes. We're backpacking, and right now we've settled down in Brisbane for a couple of months, to save up some cash.
I'm engaged - Yup. July 20th, Cape Tribulation. You're invited.
I'm reading TDAT - Well, no. That list is out of date. TDAT was three or four books ago. And yes, the last line was iffy. And predicable. Decent book, though.
See you around, mate.
