This should be good.

I told you already that I didn't post the bookreview below entirely without reason. On the contrary - a couple of days ago I read somewhere that this novel, too, is going to be turned into a film. Yay!

Some time ago I already posted an entry about Hollywood turning one of my favourite books of all time, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, into a film, and now it turns out they've added one of my two favourite books of 2003 (the other one is Blindness) to that list, too.

Here are some specs:
  • Title: Everything Is Illuminated.
  • Director: Liev Schrieber.
  • Cast: As of yet only Elijah Wood has been cast for the leading role.
  • Release date: August 12, 2005.
  • Plot outline: Elijah Wood stars in the adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's novel about a young Jewish American who endeavors to find the woman who saved his grandfather during WWII in a Ukrainian village that was ultimately razed by the Nazis.
Next year is going to be a good year.

Cheers
